You are in good hands, meet Icy

While Icy Lin joined Hong Kong Sports Clinic in 2021, she is no stranger to the clinic. For the past few years, she has been coming here for physio treatment, as well as to share with our therapists on yoga/mobility.
Not everyone knows, but she worked in J.P. Morgan Bank for 9 years from 2008 to 2017, responsible for asset allocation and investment decisions for Ultra High Net Worth Individual clients. Yoga for her is a therapeutic tool to relieve all the pains and aches from long hours of sitting, as well as a calm place to release the stress and tension from fast-paced banking job. She was eager to share with more people about yoga, after experiencing her transformation physically and mentally. Hence she joined yoga teacher training and started teaching yoga part time every weekend.
After she gave birth to her son, in order to get more time with her family and continue to pursue her passion for yoga, she decided to leave the banking world and become a yoga teacher at Pure Yoga, the largest yoga/fitness studio in Asia. One time shoulder injury brought her to Joseph March, the founder of the clinic. She is very inspired by how Joseph and everyone in his team dedicate their time, knowledge and skills every day to help people get pain free, and move well. To learn more on top of yoga, and expand her scope, Icy decided to join Hong Kong Sports Clinic full time in 2021 as Head of Mobility and Yoga, as well as Therapy Assistant for patients’ rehabilitation. Icy’s story has been featured by South China Morning Post recently. To read more, please check out the news link.
